Porno & Word Count

As for me, my word count for the day is 1258 -- which, I have to admit, does include my blog write-up.
I know--whimpy. But some days you just gotta take it where you can get it.

Blog write-up? ROFLMAO. You crack me up. You're writing your first draft and you're winging it this time. There are bound to be days where you have trouble eeking out that 1000 words.
1419 words for me yesterday. I'm at the climax and I stopped last night because I needed to think through two options. Actually, lying in bed though, I realized BOTH options have to work. A combination, really. One had the heroine listening to the hero and trusting him, doing what he asked- which is important for her overall character arc because she's not trusted anyone - esp. him - for so long. The other had her doing her own thing but being the hero herself, instead of being the damsel in distress who needs to be rescued. (I know, this makes no sense to you, but it does to me). Both were really important character points. And I *think* I've figured how to work them both in. We'll see today as I go for that 1000 words.
