IMMORTAL RIDER

The signs are everywhere...disastrous world events. Evil rising up, unleashed upon the innocent. The prophecies were there...but no one listened. Until now. The time has come for those who can either usher in Doomsday...or prevent it. They are here. They ride. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Arik Wagner, a soldier with the U.S. Army's paranormal unit, the R-XR, kissed a girl and liked it. And then he went to hell as punishment. Where he's spent weeks being tortured...and plotting revenge.

Limos, Horsewoman of the Apocalypse, isn't your average girl. She's immortal, dangerous, and her fiancé is Satan himself. In a moment of weakness, she gave in to her desire and kissed Arik, triggering her fiancé's wrath - and his claim on her. In order to save Arik, and the world, Limos must make a dangerous pact with her recently turned evil brother, Pestilence. A deal that might just cost her her soul...and her heart.

I've met very few people who also "kill" watches. Mine run for a bit, but even replacing the batteries, they never start up again. Most people don't believe me when I tell them why I don't wear a watch.

Great interview!

I do believe in the afterlife and I think that mostly comes from my reading of paranormals! Some of the creatures I've "met" I really wish existed.

Joan, you keep coming up with the coolest questions. Can I borrow your brain for a bit? I promise I will give it back after *coughs* a while. *grins*

Larissa,
I was wondering - Do you think it is easier to write a stand-alone novel or a series? And if series, do you think they should be able to be stand-alones within the series? The reason I ask is that I have been getting feedback from a lot of friends about a few series lately. But I have a lot in the to-read pile. Many of these series are 5 or more books into the game already, so I would have to commit a lot of reading to one series. It is a tough decision for me because of the time invested and all of the other books that will wait in the mean time.

Also, when does an author know when to stop a series? Do you think some series go way too long - or maybe the author gets burnt out on the characters? Is there an acceptable or magical series number?

Thanks for the interview. I really enjoyed reading your answers.

I used to be able to tie a maraschino cherry stem with my tongue (got to have the right stem) until I became allergic to the food coloring used for the cherries. Too bad.

Poison Rose 12:36 PM

Love those fast paced Q&A sessions.. Love how we find out so much about the authors we love. I have yet to read the series, but it sounds so good! I might have to run out and buy a few soon. *grins*

Thanks for the interview Larissa!

Ouch! I remember when you broke both wrists at the same time. * huggles Larissa*

Though I am curious of what D&D game? I'm totally giggling over how you celebrate your birthday. I do the same thing but friends won't let me.

Cow-tipping. LOL.

Larissa already knows I love her books, that each book gets better and better. I'm proud to say I got one friend into it, and now I'm working on the others. I can see her loving the demon brothers.

Raonaid at gmail dot com

Angie-la 1:42 PM

I love these type interviews! And I can also tie a knot in a cherry stem with my tongue.

Shonna,  4:50 PM

Wish I could tie a knot in a maraschino cherry stem. Is there a trick to it??? Love your work.

Anne R 6:00 PM

Loved the interview. I am a huge NCIS fan. Plus, I have bungee jumped, scariest thing ever! But I'm glad I did it.

HJGarrett 9:54 PM

Yea! I love this series...and the Demonica series... and Sydney Croft... ok yep anything Larissa does... lol

So...
Given A Chance, Would You Bungee Jump?

Been there, done that! When I still lived in Ks, there was a huge crane downtown that was setup for it. So before graduation, several of us "took the plunge" together!

June M. 12:09 PM

I only discovered the wonderful Larissa Ione this year. I saw ETERNAL RIDER in the store and decided to try it. LOVED it!!! Had to get all the Demonica books too! I am a total fan now. I have not read the Sydney Croft series yet but I will be. I am hoping that there will be another spinoff series after LOD. I don't want this world to end, lol.
